I opted not to get BtS because I still haven't mastered the game play in reg ol' Civ, besides I don't play all that much and couldn't decide (also I didn't know it had all the Warlords stuff). Warlords was much cheaper ($9.99), so I felt better not telling wifey about it. I'll buy BtS when it gets below $20.Was it a birthday present for yourself?
The new car will get awful gas milage, but the one I drive gets pretty good milage. Wifey drives about 20 miles/week.
I like the commute.
Josie has decided not to bother us (her parents) when she poops her diaper while sleeping, and instead opts to change her diaper herself. This would be great, except she can't do it. Instead, she winds up whipping poop all over everthing and makes a giant stinky mess.
Anyway, I was playing Civ yesterday and I hear my wife scream. We find Josie covered in poop. So, I grab the kid and give her a shower, wifey starts cleaning her room. We get her back down for her nap some 30-minutes later. Then, wifey, who's working on some doors for Josie's closet can't find her new hinges and starts throwing a fit. We eventually find the finges under a pile of catsup packets in the silverware drawer. At which time we find Josie is awake and is playing with her diaper rash cream, another clean up job ensues.
Finally, all said and done, I sit back down to play and my Dad calls. I tell him I don't want to talk, everything is hectic. I hang up. he calls back and tells me he thinks we need to go see a marriage consiler. I laugh at him, and hang up.
That was a strange afternoon.Comment
