I think you should make SlowwHand the John Wayne of your church. And then make John Wayne more of an integral figure in your story. Like maybe he's the last one standing at some fort that can't be held, but must be held long enough to give the Texans enough time to organize to fight off the Romans. And John Wayne would be the last one standing, wearing a coonskin cap and brandishing a Bowie knife, as the Romans close in around him....Comment
