okay so the title is a bit dramatic. They aren't even sure if it's a bomb, and suffice it to say, a pipe bomb ain't going to do **** to a nuke plant.

You better bring a whole truckload of explosives, and if you only hit the steam plant, you still won't do ****.

This baby is like 9 Hoover Dam's. Nuclear power It's where I was hoping to work after the navy. But you really need connections to get on in those places. So I never bothered.

So what, we're not allowed to carry pipe bombs around with us anymore? What is this country coming to.

A contract employee at the largest nuclear plant in the nation was stopped at a plant entrance Friday with a "relatively small" explosive device in his truck, officials said.
a small pipe bomb that didn't even make it into the plant.

the point was to show how the media uses scare tactics to get people to read their stories. This story was the top story on CNN and Drudge.

a contractor had a pipe bomb rolling around in the bed of his truck and apparently forgot about it, not hard to believe. Btw, I worked at that plant when it was being built

who forgets about a bomb in their truck?

who goes around with bombs in their truck?

yes I know the answer is this guy.

I guess I've never felt the need to have a bomb in my vehicle.

He's a contractor, and he's in Az where mining is bigtime. The plant is about 70 miles west of Phoenix out in the boonies so I'm sure some of the locals are employed at the plant. I worked out there, this aint a big surprise to me.
