Why are there no drunk tv shows?

Besides the logistical challenges of having a drunk host. But why not have a talk show where the host and guests drink? Imagine how much better the boring interviews with softball questions would be?

But why does no one drink on tv? I remember some big stir when some celebrity did a late night show drunk, but what's so wrong with drinking on tv? Is that illegal? It might be in the U.S. to drink alcohol on air. But why would this be illegal? What's the basis for that?

Drinking is baaaaaaad. You can't show people drinking and having a good time. You can only show desperate alcoholics whose lives are falling apart.

I remember watching this talk show (Finnish) where the two hosts would take booze and pills during the show. They were pretty f'd up at the end! And that was the point, to take booze and pills.
