Pumpkin spice is not pumpkin. It has no pumpkin flavor in it, at all, at least where i've seen it used.
Pumpkin spice is that combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves (and probably something that i'm missing) that is used commonly in pumpkin pies, but also goes well with almost anything that is a bit bitter and a lot sweet. The sharpness of the cinnamon takes away the bitterness and makes a drink with a nice zip.
It's one of the best spice combinations for coffee, and is consistently the most popular flavored coffee at most coffee shops.'<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

Cardamom is really nice in coffee. Nothing fansy that requires a expensive machine or some esoteric technique. Just sprinkle some on the top.Comment
