seriously what is wrong with New York? It's a city most people want to live in (don't ask me why). And you need a decent number of translators available. Yeah I'm sure they could move along with the U.N., but like I said, you want it in a city that is desirable to live in.

the biggest reason to move it may be cost. But the U.N. isn't broke are they?

sometimes I wonder about the U.N. Seems like they did a good job in Korea but are slacking off. Seems like an aggressor nation (the U.S.) invaded another country, and they did nothing about it. Why is there no coalition formed against U.S. troops to get us out of Iraq? it shows the double standard and inadequecies of the U.N.

If this is your most serious concern with the UN you haven't been paying attention,

Why not move it to Geneva, where there are already a large number of UN offices?

It's kinda hard to call three disparate forces that can't work together a coalition. AQ seems to be spending a fair amount of time blowing up Shi'ites. I can't imagine this endears them to the Iranians.

Would you prefer the term co-belligerents?

man what a boring attempt at "humor"

As for the question, I doubt the diplomats would want to move to Montreal. I like Montreal and had a fun time, but its a provincial town compared to New York.

Besides its more important to get Texas out of the US than the UN.

Well if they kick Texas out of the union, give me some warning so I can leave.

nothing wrong with Texas. They povide many tax dollars to the federal goverment.

The good thing about Texas is they think their state is so great, you don't see them outside of it much. . Though a lot do move here, but they aren't as bad as Californians. Though they do have more obnoxious bumper stickers.
