  • Help in introductory OpenGL?

I'm looking for something which will serve as a good introduction to OpenGL programming, starting from absolute scratch. Something which you can actually learn from, simply by reading it and experimenting.

I need to use it for a pet project of mine. I'm teaching myself how to do very primitive data visualisation.

I'm looking more for something like a hardcopy/deadtree book.

Thanks for the link, though. Looking into it right now.

NeHe's probably good enough for "very primitive data visualisation", but if you want to go further, well, it's the Red Book that you'll want to read. glprogramming.com has an online copy of an early revision of the Red Book and of the Blue book, an OpenGL reference. (the Blue book is largely just a collection of the OpenGL manpages, actually)
