9/11 nutters at it again on Bill Maher's show

Kind of funny to watch. Course bill acts like he's some tough guy. Easy to say when you have security around you . He's a skinny white guy, no one is going to be scared he's going to kick their ass.

My question is when do these nutcases get tired of supporting this dead issue? It's like they are obsessed. Give it up already and protest against something more useful, like the persecution of Britney and Paris Hilton.

I think people are so obsessed with hating republicans they will believe anything is true.

Although my suspician is they don't actually believe this crap, and are just attention whores out to draw attention to themselves, even if it is negative attention.

THere's degrees to being a wacko. First of all, in any kind of situation when you don't know the answer, keep all options open. Was it an inside job, no I don't think so, but you have to give it like a 1% of brain time and keep it open, it's interesting. Then again, you come to the negative conclusion fast, it doesn't hold, just think how many people would be in that conspiracy, it would never be a good secret, it would never really work.

So. That's not wacko at all. It's not so much wacko to even keep the 1% open. I guess it gets a bit wacko, but kind of normal when you think it's definitely possible and it might have happened but,, meh. It's definitely wacko if you reaaaally think that is the way it went down.

You're a crazy wacko if you join a group and go to some weekly meetings about this conspiracy. You're a loonie if you go to a show, and do this. Then you know you belong in a mental institution.

People always want to believe something. Whether it's that Bush was behind 9/11, or that there's some magical being that created the world in six days, there's no end to degenerate mental insanities.

can't see planting explosives. I would be more inclined to believe Bush knew about the attack, but did nothing. Occam's razor and all that. The simplist answer is probably the correct one.

The complications of planting explosives and staging 9/11 is emormous. The goverment really isn't that great at keeping secrets. Sure they can usually do it if those secrets stay locked up in some place such as area 51. But to go into a building without notice of security guards, janitors, cleaning crew etc and plant explosives is just ridiculous.

I can believe Bush knew the attacks were coming but did nothing so he could push his agenda. But even that is a bit fetched. I think as the 9/11 commission found there were ominous reports and we did know an attack was coming, just not exactly where. Though perhaps security could have been stepped up at airports and such.

I dont agree that 911 was an inside job but i think the truth is somewhere in the middle. Im sure some of the facts and information about the attacks has been covered up.

Jrabbit, yeah but it's kind of understandable. I mean you have a show, and then some people come to hijack it for their personal reasons. That's worse than hecklers at stand up shows. I'd assume the host would get pissed off, so ... it wasn't a surprise.

Possibly, but only out of embarrassment IMO. The fact is that FBI, CIA, NSA, et al, dropped the ball on this one. It was bad intelligence, not the Reichstags Fire of 1933...

The Operation Northwoods conspiracy would have involved a similarly large number of people who needed to keep quiet, yet nevertheless all of the Joint Chiefs of Staff advocated its execution. Obviously they thought the rewards outweighed the risks. If someone like Bush had been president in 1962, we probably would have had a 9/11 at that time.
