Bulgaria also won the right to call the EU single currency the "evro", rather than euro, in its Cyrillic alphabet.

They don't even have the Euro yet, but already want to write it in their own language! I tell you, if we don't stop this now all of us eurotubbies have to speak Bulgarian soon

The Greeks are doing the same already, which is why our currency is already called EURO/EYPO, so what's the problem? Well the real question is why cannot the Bulgars call it EYPO as well...

Evro "Евро" is how you write Euro in Bulgarian. I can't really understand what the whole discussion is about. It has always been like that and I can't understand why should we change this or even why other countries would care how we write certain words.

Zelen means Green. I can't think of any authentic Macedonian dish however.
You should try "tarator" though.

You know little about EU. They regulate our language all the time. Latvia wanted to call the Euro Eiro, Slovenia should have Evro, both wishes to call it so were blocked. I guess, they wanted to keep the recognizability. I guess Blugaria could only get through because of the diffepent alphabet, whepe it doesn't mattep if it's actually Eupo or Evpo since we can't pead it anyway.

There's a Bulgarian song, by Upsurt I think, called "Beer i shkembe" (sp?)

Though anglicisms are pretty common here in general. For example the former grand prix d'eurovision is usualy called "Ze Yur-ro-vishn Song Contest" now

Yes, but Greece should just be given back to the Turks, and neither should be in the EU.
