It was a nice, fluid game and I think we could've scored two more goals easily. Not that I'm complaining. I guess Russians are cheering tonight

P.S. I hope the Russian oligarch will provide all the Mercedes he promised.

It seems that the English so much destroyed their team (and their coach) morally after the defeat in Moscow that they have not been able to recover...

Lovely game, it is certainly one of my favourite ones, other than the world cup 98, and that win against Denmark on Euro 96... this is one of my favourite wins, alongside the one we beat Italy 2:1 in Palermo...

our footballers keeps coming up with the goods what a lovely strike by Mladen Petric

To be fair to McClaren, he had a lot of injuries to top players - Rooney, Owen, Terry, Ferdinand, Neville, A Cole - and the young inexperienced keeper was thrown into a huge game and handed Croatia the first goal for free.

Having said that Croatia played the game how it should be played - passing and movement with good technique - fluid, as you say, and always dangerous on the break. It was like watching Arsenal at times, and I was very pleased with Eduardo's (or 'Blinky', as some of us call him) contribution to the second. A beautiful strike by Petric too.

I loved it how I could clearly hear the 7000 Croats chanting on Wembley on TV, much louder than the 80,000+ English.

U boj u boj za narod svoj!

even after 2:2 I knew they had it in them to win it, after all we beat Israel 4:3 away, and they haven't lost at home for 7 years straight before... so yes... Slaven Bilic and just to think how shaky it all looked like after the very poor draw agains Austrlaila at the last world cup

Slaven Bilic (and our players of course )

The only time the England fans were loud was the short-lived "You're not singing any more" after the equaliser. Always a bad move to sing that, though. At least there wasn't the "Who are ya?" that usually follows a goal in the Premier League.
