I think they're suggesting that FAT is not a horrible thing in reasonable quantities.

Where is the article from, Sirotnikov?

(On a more general note, I wish people would state the source for articles posted, not just as links, but actually inform us of the source when posting. A lot of times lately, it seems like thread starters can't be bothered to include this basic and rather essential information.)

Global warming has been literally ovewrshadowed by global dimming which is something not everyone knows. Many people speak up loudly on issues they have no clue about. Best go home and shag the prom queen.

Unfortunately, John Tierney has accurately described normal scientific "progress" not the extreme.

Why the **** should we listen to a opinion columnist on this subject? And taub's book is hardly a revelation (he is essentially selling an Atkin's Diet), nor iis there anything in to that seriously "challages" the current orthodoxy.

now, if taub and his allies cna produce a long term well designed Study that shows no connection between the level of fat intake and the kinds of fats being consumed and heart disease, then people without a chip on their shoulder might listen.

I actually expected it, and wanted to see who will post some nonsense without reading the article

                              I forgot to add it.

It's from the NYT. Edited in.

                                Thanks.

The main part of my post was just a general observation.
