Oh man the new Star Trek movie is gonna be awesome

Sylar is going to be Spock
Bruce Banner is going to be the bad guy
Shaun is gonna stop fighting zombies with cricket bats long enough to be Scotty
And Harold is going to pilot the Enterprise on the way to White Castle.

The last 3 star trek movies were cinematic abortions, each worse then the last. I hoped they would let it die. The new one will suck so badly it will make the old startrek ones worse simply for existing.

My understanding is that this will be set at the time of TOS since they're hiring new actors to play the old TOS gang. It can't be a prequel since any real trekkie knows that Kirk was the second commander of the Enterprise . Since the first commander was Pike they can't get the whole gang back together on the Enterprise and pretend that the movie portrays events occuring before the TOS pilot. That is they can't unless they're willing to completely ignore the previously established Star Trek timeline like they did on the last TV series ("shudder').
