I saw the video and the interview with the manager and the girl. The freekin' manager's fiance was the one who got her to preform oral sex on him as well as the manager went and left her in the office for over an hour with him and came in and out, plus got other employees to come in and keep and eye on her. Managers boyfriend spanked her over and over again so hard that it left red welts on her. Manager denied strongly that the girl was in tears but all you have to do is look at the tape and see she's crying and sobbing. She looked down right humiliated.

Turns out that there have been over 95 such instances that this has occured over the last 5 years all over the united states and they tracked down the calling card and the guy who purchased it and he is now in jail as well as the manager's boyfriend who is no longer her boyfriend is now serving 5 years in prison for sexual assualt.

It's a lot of money, but the amount is to punish the company, not to compensate appropiately for the crime against the victim. Companies must protect their employees.

Usually I think these american lawsuits is rediculous, but in this case I think it's quite reasonable.

Not because they didn't send out a memo or like, but simply because that manager did what he did. If I understand it right, he has got a nice little jail sentence and I hope that part of it is because he accepted the suggestion of searching an eemployee.

That's a ridiculous amount of money. How could any court think she'd been traumatised that much!

I reckon she's probably very dumb but has a smart friend who told her to sue.

As I mentioned the amount is not compensation for how much she was tramautized (as if you could put a price on that), but based on how much money the company has, and to be a significant enough penalty that the company will change policy to see this does not happen again.

If she were sueing a mom and pop type fast food place (these do exist ya know), the amount would be outrageous. you have to scale it down to reflect the income of the small business.

It's a lot of money, without a doubt. I guess I care less about the amount in this case as I don't like Mcdonald's. . I'm happy to see people sue them. . But as I said, you can't put a price on this sort of thing.

Perhaps a better solution would be to cap the amount the lawyers and victim recieves, and have the rest go to a charity or support group for victims of sexual assault.
