  • Highest paid stripper evar!!

damn, why can't I be a hot girl? I would have no problem humiliating myself for 6.1 million (I humiliate myself here for free actually). And she seemed cute, so I fail to see how she would be traumatized by this. She has no reason to be ashamed. Although there were some sexual acts or something. Unfortunately stupid news websites are too responsible to publish all the juicy details. I hate when they do that.

unfortunately, no naked pics of her available.

Kind of a misleading thread title

SHEPHERDSVILLE, Kentucky (AP) -- A jury awarded $6.1 million Friday to a woman who said she was forced to strip in a McDonald's back office after someone called the restaurant posing as a police officer.

Louise Ogborn, 21, sued McDonald's Corp., claiming the fast-food giant failed to warn her and other employees about the caller who already struck other McDonald's stores and other fast-food restaurants across the country.

"Louise has stood up for what happened to her and what McDonald's failed to do for three-and-a-half years, and this jury just vindicated her completely," said her attorney, Ann Oldfather.

McDonald's is evaluating whether to appeal the decision, a spokesman said.

"While we are disappointed with the verdict, we remain vigilant in our efforts to protect our employees and provide them with a safe and respectful workplace," said William Whitman, a spokesman for McDonald's USA.

Ogborn had been seeking $200 million. McDonald's Corp. attorneys argued the company was not responsible and contended the company was being sued because of its deep pockets.

Ogborn accused the company of negligence leading up to the events in April 2004, when she was detained for 3½ hours.

In thelawsuit, she said someone called the restaurant in Mount Washington impersonating a police officer and gave a description of a young, female employee, accusing her of stealing from a customer. The caller demanded the woman be strip searched.

Ogborn was forced to undress, endure a strip search, and to perform sexual acts, the lawsuit said. The events were captured on surveillance video, which was shown to jurors during the trial.

A former assistant manager, Donna Summers, was placed on probation for a misdemeanor conviction in relation to the incident. Her former fiance, Walter Nix Jr., is serving five years in prison for sexually abusing Ogborn during the 3½-hour search.

A Florida man, David Stewart, was charged with making the hoax phone call but acquitted last summer. Police have said the calls stopped after Stewart's arrest. E-mail to a friend

in all seriousness, mickey d's is liable. they should have changed some procedural policay or even just put out a memo warning employees. I know it's different with franchises (I don't know the exact way they interact with the main company), but surely they could have done something to protect the employees.

It's a lot of money, but the amount is to punish the company, not to compensate appropiately for the crime against the victim. Companies must protect their employees.

Even though I never underestimate the stupidity of McDonald's employees (and Kentuckian ones in particular), that part's so hard to believe that I have to think she started to figure out it was a hoax but proceeded anyway.

Lord knows that's what I'd do, considering I could sue the next day for a $6 million jackpot.

The article does a terrible job there. Is this correct:

Fake cop calls McDonalds and says, one of your employees is a thief, strip search her. Then make her perform oral sex on you? And the manager agreed and made her do it?

                        WTF?

You think she might have been a tad scared... being accused of theft by a what she thought was a real policeman... but yeah, she figured it was a hoax and decided to do it anyway... feel free to blame the victim.
