ebmarassing admission: I do not know what posh means.

It's one of those words I kinda sorta know what it means from seeing it in a sentence in print (books, articles etc), but don't know exactly know what it means.

and the spice girls were not motivation enough for me to look it up. Dare I say it? spice girls are overrated.

Not too sure about the cool bit. It often relates to social class, and not always in a complimentary way.

The irony about 'Posh Spice' is that she isn't posh at all. Posh for Essex, maybe.
