Why is it everytime a cool advesary in a TV series joins the good guys, they turn into wimps? Think Worf in STNG and Ronin in SG: Atlantis. List your "tough guy turned pansy" that you hate the most here.

Ronin wasn't an adversary, really. He was hunted by the wraith, for sport, and just happened upon the good guys.
And going by individual basis, Worf was raised by humans. He was wimp from the getgo. Though, he was pretty tough nut in DS9.
Darth Vader was pretty bad. He turned from the personification of Evil into the ghost of young Anakin "Whine" Skywalker. That's bad.
Never watched the show, but I hear Spike from Buffy TWS turned pretty wimpy... (Maybe he got a soul?)I've allways wanted to play "Russ Meyer's Civilization"

Ronin was an adversary, not an enemy, or perhaps the better term is antagonist. What I mean is Ronin and the SG team were at odds when they first met.
As for Spike, I actually thought he was tougher. Maybe not so much in Buffy, but he kicks butt in Angel.
In STNG, Worf always seems to be getting knocked around. I'm in the process of watching DS9 on DVD, so we'll see what happens there.EViiiiiiL!!! - Mermaid Man

Ronon was an adversary for all of 30 minutes in one episode. Doesn't really count. And even in that time, he was portrayed sympathetically, with his initial hostility being well explained and justified in context of that episode.Solver, WePlayCiv Co-Administrator
