    Numbers.

It's actually watchable, which is saying a lot for network TV.

hey I have to ask (I asked over at imdb, but perhaps you guys are smarter). What computer game were they playing in the pilot. It looked like a hunter duel weilding enchanted swords in world of warcraft, but it went by kind of fast.

Just wanted to say not all wow players are geeks. I'm not.

that said, the show wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. Just rehashed stereotypes. Characters weren't likable, and that's what makes a sitcom succeed (only thing to explain Friends success ). when you watch old sitcoms, you realize new sitcoms are only reusing the same jokes over and over again. So it takes good likable chars for a show to work.

Only jokes I liked were the world of warcraft jokes (as I used to play so much of it) and the girl scout joke about getting in the building. The rest was so-so at best.

I also watched parts of Chuck. Horrible. Seems like a good premise. But I'm sick of these super talented spies that can hit anything with a knife. puuleeese.

and the girl on the show is totally using them. Having been recently used by a couple of women, I can recognize it now.

Never do any favors for women. Ever. Except maybe if she puts out first.

I watch NBC Thursday nights. The Office, My Name is Earl, 30 Rock, and Scrubs are all good IMO.

I always thought of it as just a comfort for ugly people that they might be "late bloomers," not some cynical work-the-system parable.
But the duckling doesnt end up looking like a swan. The duckling just finds a community of ducks.

The moral is, there are different standards for beauty (and not just physical, but for how you fit in in general) and just because you dont fit the prevailing standards, most of which involve conformity to some local norm, may only mean you meet another set.
