Coleman is an R, but he's a different sort of R. He was a Democrat until recently and is a fairly liberal Republican. He opposed increasing troop levels in Iraq for one... but he doesn't support bringing all the troops home yet either.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Thank God the U.S. Senate took time out its busy schedule to condemn that Gen. Petraeus ad run by MoveOn. I don't know if the republic could have survived without that crucial vote.
That said, when's there gonna be a vote condemning some right-wing attack ad?
