    I came here for Civ II, MP and League. I wouldn't really classify myself as an O.T. person. It's just the way things happened. Time passed, things changed.

    Hell. I thought rah and Ming were some kind of spook story. Something to shake up the kids around ACS.

      Absolutely no.

      The person with 10k posts posted more, not necessarily contributed more. Some of the very best posters at this site still have in the range of 2000-3000 posts after 5 or more years. Darsnan and J Bytheway both have under 4000 posts after 6 years here. korn has 3300 and has been here forever. And then there are many people with 5000, 7000 or more posts whose actual contributions are minimal.
      How long has it been since any of them posted? Hell, I've been here 6 years and I don't even know who Darsnan or J Bytheway are.

        Darsnan is here a lot. Maybe in spurts, but he is here.

            Unsurprising. They're people from other sections - SMAC and CtP2 respectively, so you wouldn't know them, as you're mainly in Civ4 and OT these days. We have lots of posters who make great contributions to one section but hardly ever venture outside of it, so aren't known much elsewhere.
