and furthermore, this thread is about RADICAL FEMINISTS. Just like it says in the topic. You know, man haters. I've already excluded the moderate ones out, it has been explained.

I ****ing hate it when people don't read the OP and then come and say well, this and that, but you already covered it. Then you ask well it was confusing because it had a lot of text.

It had a lot of text so I could cover the thing as far as possible so then others would know what you mean. That's the ****ing point, so it is insulting to just come and INSIST time after time how this is like and that is like this.

And if people are going to say that's not how it is, they should at least read what was said! How can you claim this isn't so when you don't read what was even said? It's a poor excuse, because the topic says is pretty good, if at some point people get confused, they can see what the topic says. And what kind of a minority is radical feminists? It's the same kind of minority as dudes with orange t-shirts, it doesn't even deserve to be called a minority. Democrats and Republicans are minorities also, because the REST of the world outnumbers them. White men are a minority because the rest of the world outnumbers them. EVERYTHING and everyone is a minority.

Don't worry about Kid, Pekka. He's far more interested in looking down at people from his high horse than actually taking the care to understand what they've been saying.

[q=Imran Siddiqui]You've created this stereotype of the "radical feminist" and pretend like they are some massive force coming to enslave all men. All sides have their wackos, no doubt. And, of course, there are wacko women who do hate men and think they are the reason for everything bad... but they are a very, very, very, very small part of the general feminist movement. You are talking about a few hundred people, IF THAT.[/q]

Imran, so what are you trying to say? We're not discussing feminist movement here. Read the topic. Now you even quoted me first as well.

I've created a stereotype? No I haven't. I described the type of women, in this case feminists, who I consider to be radical, adn I think if you ask from most people, they would say same things when it comes to radical feminists. Man haters. Yeah, that's what comes to people's mind.

So I gave the description and called them radical feminists. It included man hating. You managed to make 3 mistakes in your post.

            1) that I stereotyped someone. Because if I call someone a chauvinist, and he fits the description, I'm not stereotyping anyone. It's like if you call me a software engineer and see people how you can qualify as one, you'd be correct. Stereotyping? If it meets the requirements, it is one.

            2) The topic says radical feminists. I'm not including feminists in general. I've repeatedly said that equality is not something I'd be against, not at all. EVEN if we would be unequal, it's totally irrelevant and it doesn't matter if you say it is relevant. It might be relevant if you want to talk about something else.

            3) if you claim there are few hundred radical feminists, you're kidding yourself. They might not be as large as many other groups, but there's sure as hell more than few hundred. There's more than few thousand people whose sexual fetish is squashing bugs with their bare feet. There's probably hundreds of thousands who enjoy poo thrown on to their bodies and vomit play. There's more serial killers than few hundred. I'm not talking about your city, I'm global.

No. They aren't man haters. They want to RADICALLY change the society, in which man is dominant and oppressive. That's all.

Well I just find it quite weird that someone with a straight face woudl suggest there are few hundred radical feminist (oh, and IF THAT).

And I guess I need to give an example since people will insist what stereotyping means. Stereotpying would be if I called all women radical feminists. It would be stereotyping if I called all feminists radicals. It would be stereotyping if I said that all feminists are man haters.

But I agree that people go weird lengths to fight their lost battles. Can't they see it? We can play the semantics game all day long, it still doesn't make ANY of those arguments right or even close to correct. They're just simply false.

Now what I said about radical feminists and if I'm correct about that... I might be wrong in some cases, I might be drawing a general line that really is just more my opinion than anything else.

But the posters who are throwing all these countering arguments have not even read what I said, because they can't now answer the bottom line and that is, "what's the reason behind the statement _I don't like radical feminists_". It was a simple question and I started the answer from the very beginning.

Trying to play semantics and burying the whole bottom line into oblivion isn't making your case. That's what politicians do.

Yes I must be delusional. There aren't more than few hundred man haters who woudl also be considered radical feminists. Your claim is so ridiculous it doesn't even deserve any further debating. It's too obvious, it's just as simple as that.

Let me explain something to you Pekka. I am a radical communist. That doesn't mean that I hate capitalists, although I might act like it sometimes. I hate capitalism. Get it?

Kid, Was I talking about you? No. I was talkign about radical feminists WHO hate men. OK? There's an AND there. Radical feminist who also hates men. I'm not going to explain this for... 4th time? I already gave the description of who I'm talking about.

You're talkinga bout different people altogether. I'm not talking about people who want to change the society radically. That doesn't yet cut it.

I'm talking about... radical feminists who hate men. You're talking about other groups. And that's not the groups this thread was talking about.

So "feminists don't hate men" isn't an argument here. I'm talking about "radical feminists who hate men".

The only thing more scary than me completely understanding you Pekka, is that I completely agree. There are most certainly more than a few hundred of the type you are referring to. To me, thinking anything else would be delusional.
