  • Hank Williams

I'm listening through some CDs that I've acquired before passing them on to my mom. She's a great fan of his.

I must say I'm enjoying it very much. I've never really been fully aware of his music, except for a few songs here and there, not really being a follower of the country genre. But listening through all those wonderful tunes and hearing his melodious and at times melancholic voice has been somewhat of an eye-opener for me. Great lyrics also, very moving.

What a tragically short, yet incredibly productive life this man had. And such inspiration and influence he left behind for other musicians, right up to the present day.

What does Dutch country have to do with a post about Hank Williams?
Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards
And notifying the next of kin
      Once again...

I thought so, most North Americans don't know there is a whole world outside of their borders.

I know where the world is, just not where every single insignificant ant is in that world.

I'm aware of where your countries are, I just keep thinking they're the same thing. Really, what's the different? Wooden shoes vs rotten reeboks?
