...and the water Boni will be sailing on are very placid. I don't see much chance of breaking up in high seas when the waves rarely get higher than two inches.

I have a good set of cordless tools over there, with jigsaw, circular, drill. I'll need a sander and whatever it takes to apply epoxy and fiberglass. No clue about how to do that but labor is cheap there and somebody can be found to teach/help me. My bro in law is a fairly skilled carpenter and will use the boat for fishing, so he will help too.Long time member @ Apolyton

I have yet to see the actual plan.
My bud who has pay pal and an ebay account is having trouble getting it active again. When he does he'll send it. If he does. If not, this place is on our island and I might could buy plans there, tho that could be $.

If I were you I'd still do a quick calculation of the displacement of the new boat before building it ... just to make sure you don't sink when you sit in it
