I am saddened
I haven't studied any physics since junior year of high school, and I still have to tutor physics majors in special relativity. I'm a sophomore now, this isn't supposed to happen

So the weeding doesn't begin at CMU yet?
At Gustavus we had ~60 in classes in the Freshman year, by the end of the sophmore year we had ~10 in classes (Giant classes having ~20).
And yes, at times half of a class would get Ds/Fs.
