    LOL!

Rufus, most of those are pretty damn good, except the personal relationship one. Yup, if I didn't have religion already I'd have to start you.

Damn some of the posts are just a riot.

        If I were a god:

        1) Don't commit any kind of violence over another person. Not even self defense since if you're good, I'll bring you to heaven and if you're bad, you deserve to go to hell anyway.
        2) Have responsible sex. Have as much fun with as many people, but be smart, don't spread disease and don't bring children into the world that you can't raise.
        3) Be humble. You're no better then anyone else even you have every reason to believe you are.
        4) Feel free to aquire all you want to enjoy life, but don't trample on others to do so.
        5) Have more responsible sex.
        6) Don't make laws just for the sake of trying to control them. If they're immoral, I'll take care of it.
        7) Don't let anyone take advantage of you. As long as you oben commandment 1, I got your back.
        8) Sex is good as long as you don't abuse it.
        9) Enjoy life and help others enjoy life.
        10) Don't forget the sex thing. My priests should probably be prostitutes.

3 - They can have it done fast or they can have it done right. Either way i ain't the one doing it.

                      5 - Run Forrest! Run!
                      6 - Don't talk about fight club.
7 - ****! Me and my big mouth...
8 - Fight them on the beaches, fight on the landing grounds, fight in the fields and in the streets, fight in the hills. Or surrender: who gives a ****, really.

                      10 - A bad **** ain't as good as a good one.

Its only the original. You could look it up.

If thats too long, I suggest the following

"Do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with thy God"

If THATS too many commandments, I like the following

The torah, as summarized while standing on one leg" "torah al regel echat"

"that which is hateful to thyself, do not do to others - all the rest is commentary. Now go study"
"A person cannot approach the divine by reaching beyond the human. To become human, is what this individual person, has been created for.” Martin Buber

                            1) God prizes virtue above all. Strive to be virtuous. But remember the Caveat: The greatest evils in history were performed in the name of virtue.

                            2) God is the Father of all mankind. Everyone you meet is your brother or sister. Love them.

                            3) Everyone you meet is your superior in some way. Respect them.

                            4) People are not made of crystal and stainless steel but of flesh and blood. They err. Understand and forgive them.

                            5) Everyone contains evil as well as good. Be cautious.

                            6) God gave you a brain. Use it.

                            7) Hatred and fear are the tools of the Devil. Eschew them.

                            8) Protect the weak, but help them stand on their own.

                            9) Leave the world better than you found it.

                            10) When you were born, you cried while all about you smiled. Live so, that when you die, you smile while all about you cry.

                                1) I have given you a brain. Use it.
                                2) Never put ANY authority, even this set of commandments, above that brain of yours, and your ability to reason.
                                3) Do not be blinded to the nature of the world because of your ideology. Make all attempts to see it as it is.
                                4) Strive ever towards truth - for once you have found it, you shall find that we are the same, you and I.
                                5) Have respect for yourself, and the fact of your humanity.
                                6) Have compassion (this follows naturally from the previous one).
                                7) Do not think of yourself as a limited being developing new powers, as you will come to think of yourselves from time to time. Instead, think of yourself as a Godly being, remembering and uncovering the powers already inherent in you.
