Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

The 3 greatest food movies EVAR:

                      1) Big Night (the audience I was in literally gasped when the main course finally appeared)

                      2) Babette's Feast

                      3) Tampopo

                      Ratatouille runs a close fourth.

                          'Eat, Drink, Man, Woman'.

Had I never enjoyed Chinese food, this would have had me galloping to the nearest Chinese restaurant for a food fix. I want someone to make me that range of dim sum for my lunch.

'Babette's Feast'. This works for me as a celebration of the chef's art and also as a pointer to what meals can be- not just about the food, but about the conviviality too.

                          Caille en sarcophage... mmmm.

                          Blinis Demidoff....

It's hard to choose between 'Big Night' and 'Tampopo'. I love Italian food (especially a good risotto) but noodles... and I loved the demonstration of how to make a good omelette too.
