It's always interesting what parts of a country you've been in, I'm a geek for provinces for some reason. In China I visited mainly Hubei. In Spain, I saw some parts that were quite distinctive regionally, such as the Basque country.

You've got the first part right. Probably the second too, but why do you want to make a short-term trip across the bridge in the first place?

Sincere question. Gothenburg and Stockholm I'd understand absolutely. Malmø, only reason I see from a tourist perspective would be to extend the list of countries you've been to...

Theres more than enough to do in malmo for a day trip. You can go to the beach and parks full of swedish women in the sun (its true), theres a free open air theatre with stuff on all the time. The night life is well worth a look starting in mollevangstorget for an alternative crowd and with a few nightclubs worth a look if you ask around.
