My world view has drastically changed - I no longer root for the bull

NYE, sure. So? And I'm nto consistent on it, I don't like those.. fox hunters. THat's not even a sport, because the dogs do all the work and these fat dudes just get there late to shoot and stuff.

What I'd like to see in a bullfight is mroe balanced odds, so that the matador doesn't get any help if he screws up. So it's 1 on 1, the winner gets to walk out, including the bull.

Well I'm not actively watching bullfighting but I used to root for the bull 100%, now it's more like 50/50.

Those people who do the ... bull run, where they release bulls to run the streets? I support full mayhem and stomping of humans.

I guess the point I'm making is that the matadors actually do take big risks and there's deaths happening. So, so in that regard they're much more honourable than the ones mass murdering animals with other methods.

And as far as sport, the bull actually is a pretty strong and fast, can maim and often does. There's no risk for others, even hunters the risk is not from the same planet.

So that's why I think it's better. You go there and stand and fight it out. Of course the matador stands better chances. But like I said, I wouldn't mind if the odds were a bit better for the bull as well.

I would be Pro Bull fighting if the Bulls do it voluntarily (knowing about the consequences if the Matador wins) and have a real chance of winning and surviving the fight.

Of course also no pressure sould bne applied into their decisiion wether to fight or not, i.e. if they don´tfight it shouldn´t have any negative consequences.

If these preconditions are met it may be truely a fair and manly fight

What an idiotic and perverted sport. It's more honest to just go after ants with a magnifying glass. Sure, there's no element of personal risk there, but how does risk to yourself make it better? If you hurt things for fun, you're a jerk. If you hurt things for fun and expose yourself to danger along the way, you're a stupid jerk. Valor only counts when directed towards a worthwhile end.

What? An example of a hunter (these days OF COURSE) attacks a bear with a knife, it's not the norm. It's about rifles. Adn the bulls aren't half dead. I don't know what amateur show you've seen, but they're definitely in full form when the last attack happens, when the matador decides that it's the time give the finishing strike.

The 'stabbing' is mostly done to provoke the bull if the bull gets too passive. THat's about the only cruel thing I can't think of when it comes to bullfighting. But it definitely is'nt stabbing bull half dead first. Get your facts straight or join PETA
