            I hope that wasn't presented for any sort of, well, meaningful grade. Not only do they disregard the effect of the choice of the song (the possibility that one song might have been better than the other), and the fact that one singer might have had a more "positive" outlook than the other [or perhaps might have had some unconscious factor affecting the decisions]... but they claim to form an opinion on the general public based on 36 data points without any demographic information on those people surveyed?



            Not going to Calgary for my economic opinions any time soon

                I am delighted to report that the economics paper on AC/DC I blogged about yesterday was meant as a joke. It takes a lot of work to run an experiment on real people, just for a gag paper. It turns out they meant to play the same AC/DC song in both treatments, but made a mistake and accidentally played two . . .
