A friend and I were playing with fire crackers down by the river where I grew up. We were throwing them at each other. Lots of fun. However, where we were playing, there is a bend in the river. To prevent erosion, the city had placed a metal barrier on the opposite side of where we were. The noise from the fire crackers would travel across the river and bounce back over our heads to a bunch of houses. From up near the houses, the noise sounded like gunfire. Someone called the police. The officer that arrived on scene went down into the wooded area (where we were playing) and became convinced that he had stumbled upon a drug gun fight. He drew his weapon and called for back up. Not sure why he didn't wait for it to arrive, but he drew his gun and continued to look for the "gunfighters". SWAT gets dispatched. When he finially finds us, he's trembling scared, sweating bullets and I find myself staring down the barrel of a loaded .375 Magnum that is swinging back and forth between me and my friend. I guess we didn't really get arrested, but we were taken to the police station.

BEcause everyone falls asleep.

Now, if a cop says they never played with their gun, it's possible. A lot of cops never actually have to fire their gun etc.

So, I think that's still going to be it. You have been asleep many times after donut crumbles rolling down your chest, am I right? I must be right

December 2 will mark my 10th year on the job. While I have been lucky enough to have never had to use my weapon to arrest someone myself, I have had to draw it in assisting others.

Despite what you see on TV, cops very rarely ever even draw their weapons (but I do realize that to never have to do it on my own in nearly 10 years is odd).

Exactly, they always say that they never really had to pull the gun out or shoot. I mean outside shows and movies. Which is of course a good thing or at least says that the cop has been professional. I can't imagine being a cop and not shoot at least once in 10 years. I'd get that out of my system in the first week! Shoot someone in the leg.

OK, difficult, let's go for another round. Can't come up with anything interesting so...

1) I've never cheated a woman
2) I don't curse when my parents are around
3) I've been caught smoking pot when I was younger (by the police no less)
4) I once manufactured ~10 gallons of my own booze.
