  • What's your poisson?

I used to prefer salmon but the stuff at the store is often too damn bony, so lately I've been retreating to tuna steak. You?
    Unbelievable!

    I like normal distributions.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Salmon, if it's cooked properly. (And deboned. If you have a Costco nearby, they have great boneless salmon for quite cheap.)

If not, a good self-caught rainbow trout

Or superwhite tuna as sushi, if that's the way we're going...

Tuna is full of mercury. You should eat more of it.

It's very easy to take away the relatively few bones in salmon. And it tastes delicious. A fish that tastes good but also have serious amounts of bone otoh, is mackerell. Not adviseable if you don't like much bones. But how anyone can say salmon has lots of bones...?
