    WT* British Airways?

    Go to http://www.britishairways.com/travel/fx/public/en_us.

    Choose Washington (Dulles) as teh departure city, type in BLR for teh destination. Enter 9/20/07 as departure date, 10/7/07 for teh return. Find the fare.

    Repeat, except this time check teh "One way only" box, and now find teh fare.

    WTF?

    Well, people wanting a one way ticket to that place probably won't survive to be a new customer, so they probably want to get as much as they can.
    With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

      I think the idea is that they get more free seats with round way tickets (some people miss the flights), so that some of the seats may be paid for several times even if they end up being empty.
      The enemy cannot push a button if you disable his hand.

        Makes sense; even if I wanted to go one-way, I'd buy the round trip, and then just not fly back.

          Oh it is more serious than that.

          Be advised that for some reason British Airways flights to south India are all messed up this summer. They have been cancelling flights and sticking passengers on other carriers at other times. The departure from Heathrow for the London to Bangalore segment of our own journey got moved back a couple hours putting our Bangalore to Madras flight in doubt.

            Why didn't you fly direct to Madras? BA has an LHR-MAA flight.
