  • Does Michael Moore live in Washington State?

I just received a shipment of books from Amazon, and by mistake they'd left a shipping notice in the box for a Michael Moore in Washington, for 3 books. Now, it might be um, an interesting purchase of books if this was meant for the noted tired old hack, Mt. Moore himself.

Yes, I realise it is a very common name. But I'm not about to let this one slide until I know for sure. So does he reside in the state of Washington?

Is your real name Michael Moore? Would be the most obvious explanation.

No, not even close. And I don't live in Lopez, Washington either.

Plus it's only a couple of extra pounds that I gained recently..

A package sent to Washington ends up in Denmark?

        Was it FedEx?

I believe he lives most of the time in New York.

He-he. No, the package was for me alright, it's just that they left a slip in it by mistake that was issued for Michael Moore.

This is what he'll be reading inbetween meals in the near future:

Confessions of an Economic Hit Man

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

The China Study: The Most Comprehensive Study of Nutrition...

Maybe he has a summer home on Lopez Island, WA. He seems to be quite comfortable being on the fringe of things at times..

You realize that Michael Moore isn't exactly an uncommon name .

Hell, a co-worker of mine has the last name of Moore and her husband name is.... Michael!

Michael Moore lives in a catatonic state.

                      Wikipedia says:

Since 1990, Moore has been married to producer Kathleen Glynn, with whom he has a stepdaughter named Natalie. They live in New York City and spend quite a bit of time in Traverse City.

                        Right, thanks.

Why is everyone so stuck up when you try to poke a little fun at the liberal icons for a change. Imagine if the slip had said John Roberts instead. "You do realise that John Roberts is a very common name, don't you?" "I hear he spends most of his time in Washington, D.C." "My neighbour once had a pet squirrel whose significant other was called John G. Roberts."

                        Ok.

And reading "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" (by John Perkins IIRC) shows that the person is probably a liberal. (The book is quite scary....if true. But I have my doubts.)
