Seriously, I think this is quite disturbing news.

In the past the banana has always been symbol of freedom, of having a choice. People who didn't like option A, B or C could always take the banana option and be happy with it.

But it seems these days are over now. Let's face it, forcing bananas on people is totally against the original principle of the banana. All true polytubbies should resist this move with everything at their disposal.
