      My feeling is that humans often seriously underestimate the intelligence, emotions, and consciousness of animals... mammals at least seem to have powerful brains.

      Personally I consider the killing of big intelligent animals such as whales, dolphins and gorillas to be close to equivalent to killing humans. IMO they are more similar to us than most people realize.
      Oh, I agree. I was just being sarcastic to make the point, and pointing out the stupidity of that "animals don't feel anything so it's ok to test with them" argument.

              If we breed depressed mice and release them to mate with wild mice maybe we can create a breed that doesn't need traps, they kill themselves! Instead of traps just leave little tiny razor blades behind the fridge.
