Civ 4 works fine on my integrated graphics. And my model is 1.5 years old.

If you want to play civ, don't buy IG. IG *can* work, but often doesn't.

It wouldn't cause you any problems, but it wouldn't run as smooth as if you were using WinXP instead. Switching from XP to Vista forced me to turn off AA

I'd say stay with XP unless you have a very good reason to use Vista

Dell doesn't offer it anymore but they do offer this comp in a small size that I can stuff easily into a carry on and bring to the Phils.

Vista won't cause you any problems....as long as you don't want to run your old software.

You can get most things running by doing various things, but some just will not work withut upgrades.

My Winfax is a great example of one that won't work at all and is not being supported anymore. I had to replace it with a compatable program. Oh well...

I could never get Theme Hospital running in XP, but works great in Vista... now that's something I didn't expect
