    The end is nigh!

"The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And The Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him to His heart. So The Lord said, "I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the ground, man and beast and creeping things and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them." (Genesis 6:5-7 RSV)

One of the coldest ever July days here today, midlands only made 12c.

Seems like we're catching the Southern Hemisphere's cold.

If that's the bridge into Evesham, there are expectations of it being washed away when the flood water reach their peak overnight tonight.

It has been a miserable one for most of Europe this summer.

Believe it or not some people are putting our last 40 days of cold (over 1c below average) and wet weather down to global warming

For anyone who cares, Singapore seems to be getting colder with each passing year.

And New Zealand, South Island rarely see's long hot summers, whereas 15-20 years ago and before, it did.

Well, it's not so unbelivable actually. Global warming ****s up the weather systems causing rain and floods in one part of the world and severe drought in other parts. But IMO it's too early to say if this is man made disturbance or just a natural phenomenon...

That's slightly hard to believe for me. Sure, it's rained, but where I live at least (Linköping) it hasn't seemed any out of the ordinary.

I suppose it's like Per (the last big storm) - a kilometer from here it turned a wood into splinter-covered wasteland, but here it barely registered. Mother Nature loves me :winner:
