  • Have you ever printed a book from the internet?

I have discovered I can find most books by non modern authors on the internet.
But reading a book on the monitor does not seem comfortable to me.

Ive been thinking on printing it with the computer printer.

Have any of you done that? What was the experience like?

No. You might consider an e-book reader, though they're rare and expensive. Sony Ebook is one of the better ones, but it doesn't work well with non-ebook formats like pdfs.

I don't suggest printing a book out on paper unless you have a lot of paper, it'll take hundreds of pages. At a certain point, it becomes not much cheaper than buying the book; if it's a out of copyright book it's almost certainly available for $5 or less, and I don't know what you pay per ream of paper but half a ream (250 pg) isn't enough cheaper than that...

it used a too much ink and paper for my taste.

If you have a laser printer... I think it could be a good idea.

Even laser printer the toner is rather expensive at that point... I hadn't calculated that into my above post. I think that'd push it above the price of buying the book in paper form...
