  • Brand Beckham takes the US by storm

250,000 shirts sold before he's even kicked a ball - and those are only the ones Imran's bought...

Is he the guy to make the US finally wake up and realise that Football is the only true World sport?

How will he and Posh fit into the LA lifestyle - will they become Scientologists!!?
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

In the US football = NFL, and that's not going to change. I bet more Americans have heard of Posh Spice than Beckham.

What I can't believe is that the NFL is thinking about having more games outside the US.

Becks certainly has enough money to buy a high Scientology rank, though.

Tickets for Wembley bought and paid for!

Shame it's the Giants Vs. Dolphins, but beggars can't be choosers.

Luckily a bunch of us did the same, two of us made it! There were a couple of spares, I think I'll ask what happened to those but I expect they're long gone already...

It probably makes sense for them to move to the States because of the attention that it will sustain outside the States. But in LA, University of Southern California offseason football practices probably garner more attention than Galaxy games.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891
