Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I suppose that your chosen name suggests that you would be rude. The Cap Arcona weighed 27.500 tons, the Deutschland 21,000 tons and the Tirpitz 43,000 tons. The liners would have been far simpler to hit than the Tirpitz as they were in an open bay rather than a fjord. It would have been pointless to sink them at this stage, but if the RAF had wished to do that Lancasters were the obvious choice, perhaps with another Barnes Wallis invention, the smaller bouncing bomb designed for anti-ship use. Even conventional HE bombs would have sufficed. The RAF wanted to shoot the SS men.
Your comment is quite off the point and simply abusive.
Don't take Bugs's comments personally. BTW welcome to Apolyton.
Wait, so someone just created a login for this site just to resurrect a thread from 6 years ago and pick a fight with perhaps the LAST person on Apolyton with which anyone should want to tangle?
The Germans particularily used passenger ships as troop transports in the Baltic, particularily as part of Operation Hannibal, the sea borne evacuation of German troops from Courland and East Prussia

Don't you love it how no one ever mentions the extermination of 13 to 16 million Soviet civilians as a war crime? Except for the 1 to 3 million Soviet Jews included in those figures, they count.

He is Belgium's famous painter. From what I remember, he lived with his mother and the torments of Christ. This was back before there were junk stores or junk.
I nominate the Russian treatment of German POW's and the German civilian population as a war crime.
Dresden was a legitimate target, as I've pointed out several times in the past. In any case, bombing of civilians was nothing new- certainly not to the Germans who used Rotterdam and Warsaw for target practice and of course trained up for the main event with Guernica.
Saturation bombing was effective- look up what Speer (the real one) and Goebbels thought about the effects of firestorms and bombings on civilian morale and German infrastructure.
