    Quite basic question for commies

    The other day I was in a bus, and I wondered



    Are autonomous workers proletarians? say someone who owns a shop, a hairdresser who works alone in her house, a doctor who works alone going to peoples houses when he is called etc there are hundreds of examples


    Or do they have to work for someone else, who keeps some plusvaly/profit to be proletarians?

    edit: and if they are not proletarians, what are they?

        Yep, even worse - they are raping the working class while pretending to be members of it.
        With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

              They are independent and isn't controlled guided by the party.

                IMO self-employed workers (with no employees) are more liberated in a marxist sense than factory workers since the former control both the means of production and reap the full benefits of their labor. The whole "liberate the working class from the shackles of capitalist opression" is all about making the working class self employed after all.
