      We have two cars. While we were driving on Sunday the one broke down pretty badly. It's going to cost more to fix it than the stupid car is worth. While driving the other one on Tuesday, it broke down and I can't get it fixed until Saturday. It's been a pretty rotten week.

      I know this is a whiney thread, but sometimes you just need to whine a little bit to get it out of your system.

                      Have you heard about the little word "no" ? Try using it - it will reduce your anxitety.

                          Doesn't matter if it's yourself that are the boss - it still works

                            In the US, passports now take forever to renew/initiate. This is so you can LEAVE the country, but the excuse is counter-terrorism. Now, that is tragic.
