Today's reading- a rather fascinating exploaration of the theory that bubonic plague was far from being the sole cause of London's great plague of 1665.
I won't reprint it here, as it's a bit of a monster. However it got me thinking about what impact epidemics have had on history. It strikes me that some (such as the Justinian Plague) certainly seem to have had significant impacts, while others such as the 1665 plague had very little.
