Zombie Network

Just finished reading an article on hijacked computers (zombie) networks and how they are used.

My question is, which the article did not anser, is how do you know your computer is now part of the living dead?

And if so how do you fix the problem.

If it's slow, if you're getting popups all the time, if your internet connection seems bogged down even when you aren't using it, if an antispyware program says you're infected.

And if so how do you fix the problem.

Antispyware/antivirus programs or a reinstall.
