The defence secretary, Des Browne, told BBC Radio Scotland: "It does appear to be a very serious incident. My first reaction to this is, thank God that we have police and explosives experts who can make these devices safe, and the arrangements they appear to have done, and that nobody has been injured."
He doesn't sound very bright, does he. "thank God we have a police force and explosives experts"
Yes, Des, it's just as well that God provided this for us, as 40 years of terrorism would never have persuaded a government to invest in such countermeasures.

With the way British News agencies have been reporting lately I wouldn't of been surprised to have read that the bomb was discovered when it exploded and took out have a block of office building and homes... "A bomb was found, no biggy"One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

"A bomb was found, no biggy"Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

Police are searching landmark sites across London for further devices, and are unsure whether there was only one bomb or several deployed across the capital. No warnings were received. The car was loaded on to a lorry and taken away. It would most likely have been taken to the forensic explosives laboratory at Fort Halstead in Kent, the site of a specialist facility known as the Igloo.
Fort Halstead = Dauphin Territory.
