Since when is Greenpeace pacifist? They constantly ram/shoulder naval and fishing vessels. If Iran or NK did that there would be a major regional war.

grog want tank...Grog Want Tank... GROG WANT TANK!

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

            No.

If North Korea nudged a Factory Whaler with a rubber boat, they'd get laughed at.

What if they used a 500-1000 ton bulk hauler?

If they were any less violent they'd be all talk, no action. Pacifism is more than standing idly by while the violent ones do whatever the f*ck they like. Or at least that is true of any commendable form of pacifism.

That's something I've not seen. Can you corroborate that?

I find something for you tomarrow Laz, more important things planned for my Friday night

But off the top of my head cod fisheries in the North Sea come to mind.

                                That's laughable, Patroklos.

"14:20 - The Nisshin-maru has rammed the M/V Arctic Sunrise. Sunrise captain Arne Sorensen confirmed that the Nisshin-maru rammed the Greenpeace ship while the Nisshin-maru was making an illegal overtaking maneouvre (SIC). It hit the Sunrise on the portside near the bow."

However, as can be seen in the photos, the Japanese vessel was damaged near its stern on the starboard side. If it had rammed the Greenpeace vessel while overtaking it from behind, damage would be at or near the bow, while the M/V Arctic Sunrise would most likely have suffered damage at the stern or amidships. The damage pattern on the Nisshin Maru shows conclusively that it was caused by a vessel striking it from behind
That might convince the pathologically-credulous, but smart chaps like you and I know that big ships have a lot of momentum and huge turning circles. That means it's entirely possible for an overtaking ship to be struck in the stern.

And just look at the damage. I've had bigger dents through accidentally opening the door of a Fiat into a tree.

                                I like this bit-

On December 21, 1999, while harassing the Japanese whale research operations in the Antarctic
I note the Japs are still diligently researching that vital scientific puzzle- "What do whales taste like?"
