I don't know that it is the right thing to do for meth, but there are some drugs to which I am increasingly intolerant.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. In Topeka, drug use might not have a visible impact, but in DC, it would be impossible to ignore as theoretical. Really, you don't have to go farther than the murder rates, but there's lots of background readily available otherwise if you aren't satisfied.

Did Sizemore commit murder? No, so dont blame him for what someone else did. Or maybe you'd like to be blamed when someone who doesn't use drugs commits murder?
As for your link, do drunk driving fatalities "justify" blaming and punishing everyone who uses alcohol? A couple years ago an elderly man drove his car into a crowd at an open market in S Cal killing a number of people, punish old people too?
