I bet it wouldn't be hard to find atheists willing to blow up a historic monument to religion.

How to get Jews, Christians and Muslims to agree:
Just ask them, "Hey, is that MOBIUS guy a douche?"
"Jesus, is he ever..."
"Oy, what a schlemiel!"
"Insh'allah, he will get carpal tunnel and lose his power to spam. Allah u akbar!"

Well, gay pride marches, at least, show those who may be scared of coming out that there are others (a LOT of others) just like them and they will be accepted into a community if they are frightened of being shunned by another.Originally posted by CyberShy
Nah, there are better ways to improve tolerance.
This is not going to improve any kind of tolerance, it's only going to provoke people and let things escalate even further.
For the record, I've also opposed christian marches against abortion and euthanasy overhere in The Netherlands. Ok, I'm against marches in general anyway, get to work instead of demonstrating while being paid by my tax money
That and it shows the intolerant that there are a bunch of gay people out there (unlike other minorities like women and blacks/hispanics/etc, you can't tell just by looking
) and you can't just ignore them.

Talk to them on the subject of Homophobia...
Even this site is guilty of latent homophobia...

Because in a democratic country they can hold a march where ever the heck they want, without anyone stopping them.On Topic: it's not as if the gay community didn't pick Jerusalem only to provoce those religions. Why not march just in the cities where there are no problems? Why the "In your face" attitude all the time? I don't get that.
Just like the orthodox can have their own orthodox march, where ever they want.
I doubt there would be gay people protesting over the right of the orthodox to march...

I doubt if that last line is correct, but in general you're right of course.Originally posted by Sirotnikov

But like I said in an earlier post, this kind of provocing is not going to change anything, it'll only make it worse.
If they want the orthodox to change mind, or at least be tolerant, then I think that they should use a different approach, and not the "In your face" approach. Not because they're not allowed to, in my opinion, but because it won't serve their needs.Formerly known as "CyberShy"

We hate you because you're unadulterated scum. What better reason could you ask for?Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?
