One never knows with a troll, when theyre being sincere, whem they are being "funny" or when they are just trolling.
I think Mobys choice of "jokes" was a sign that at least in his case, the veneer seperating anti-zionism from anti-semitism, is thinner perhaps that he would admit.
I would not suggest snipping that veneer, however. I think considering it to serve a valuable function is unrealistic however. But the process of snipping might be dangerous for Mobys delicate organs.
