Alergy thread.

I'm alergic to grass apparently. All the good allergy meds are prescription only here in Oregon because of crack or meth manufacture. So, since I can't get meds I've been trying to get some meth. Just kidding.

The effect of the allergens is mostly on my eyes (tearing up) but also sneezing and goo slime nose can be a problem. For the eyes I've taken to opening them in the shower and letting the water rinse them out.

Anyone care to co-miserate?

Never heard of it. I'm taking an anti histomine. What does Concerta do?

Oops, I meant Claritin. Concerta is for ADHD, I use to make it.

I need to get something with anti drowsy stuff. The generic anti histomine knocks me out. It's a better sleep aid to tell the truth.

I'll look for Claritin this afternoon.

Claritin works for me. In fact, it acts more like an upper, so I wouldn't take it right before bed.

And, I will make sure to somehow put Paris Hilton in my thread title should I ever generate a thread.

I use it, my daughter uses it, and so does my wife. It ain't cheap. Check the active and find a generic. I can't remember the name of the generic we get right now, but they have it at Target.

Japher, we have a Rite Aid in town I'll ask there. I'm really hopful that this will work for me. The alternative is sleeping through June & half of July.

The generic name for claritin is loratadine. You can buy it by the bucketful for next to nothing at SAMS. Claritin-D works better for me since it has a small amount of epinephrine or norepinephrine. It's not generic though and costs 50x more than straight Claritin.
