  • nBSG is relativist PoMo garbage.

What's with all the moral ambiguity there? So now the genociders have feelings too? And we should see their "human" side? Yeah rrright

In season 1 they threw that Cylon guy out of the airlock, where he belonged, the terrorist he was. In season 2 they hadn't even the guts to take out the Cylon baby, though everyone knows it's from the enemy and will explode once it learned to walk to its target. That's how far things have gone now, next they will claim Cylons are people too or even give them rights

Also, the "military"dictatorship" issue at the start of season 2 was ridiculously overblown, like Col. Tigh was the new Hitler. Guys, he has hardly any hair, not to mention no moustache!!! He was in command and tried to save order, and those librul media idiots were just whining about him while he had to make all the hard decisions. No wonder he needed some booze all the time.

And if you need any more proof that this show is evil, the line producer for most episodes is a guy named Ron E. French, thank you.

Good thing they're ending the series next year. The well has dried up. Just finished season 3. It had its moments, but it sucked overall, IMO. Its as if the writers were making **** up as they go along. And the finale was sooo lame...

What do you mean by "writers were making **** up", if it's possbile to explain that without spoiling

Well, actually, they were making it up as they went. There are some revelations about the remaining unknown Cylon agents later in the season that Moore has said he didn't think up until they were well into it. Some episodes in the middle have a definite filler quality to them, which he's also admitted. He dropped what was going to be a major arc for the second half of the season after the first episode of it was already shot, so they had to scramble a bit.

The Babylon 5 story arc was written and planned out from day one. That's why the series had a coherent feel.

Not in nBSG. That's in part why its starting to feel cobbled together with bits and pieces. In French we would say that its "cousu de fil blanc". Not a sign of good writing. Maybe if the writers of the series had been more inventive they would have managed to cobble together something better.

B5 was unusual (unique?) in that it had a whole 5yr arc planned.

Though IIRC B5 had some probs later too because they didn't think they reach five full seasons at some point?

Ratings were declining (season 4?), so there was a question if B5 would even be renewed so they could finish the whole story arc.
